Student Organizations

Accounting Club

The Accounting Club was established more than 30 years ago to recognize and encourage an active interest in the profession of accounting, and to keep abreast of advances and trends in the accounting field. The organization provides a place for students with similar academic interests to meet, create friendships, communicate ideas, and acquire valuable knowledge of the accounting profession. This is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people, build your resume, and network with potential employers. All majors welcome.

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP)

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) was founded in 1919, and the Kappa Eta Chapter was chartered at Texas State University in 2001. Since its inception, Texas State's BAP chapter has been recognized each year with the superior chapter award from the BAP national office. This included the chapter's pledge year, which has been awarded to only two chapters before. The Texas State BAP chapter maintains this honor by obtaining pledges, members, and officers who commit themselves to the highest standards.
