Spring Firm Showcase Registration

Students must pre-register in order to attend the the Spring Firm Showcase. 

Resume template is required for submitted resumes. Resumes that do not follow the template will NOT be included in the resume book.

Resumes must be submitted by the deadline on midnight on Friday, January 18 . Resumes submitted after this date will NOT be included in the resumes sent out to recruiters.

Event Details

The Spring Firm Showcase is a series of four events where CPA firms recruit for full-time positions and internships. At each event, firms will give presentations. Afterwards, students will have a chance to network with recruiters and ask questions. Each event will have door prizes and refreshments.

Dress is business professional.

Tuesday, January 29: Showcase # 1    5pm, LBJSC, 3rd Floor
Thursday, January 31: Showcase # 2  5pm, LBJSC, 3rd Floor
Tuesday, February 5: Showcase # 3    5pm, LBJSC, 3rd Floor
Thursday, February 7: Showcase # 4   5pm, McCoy College

Student Check-In
4:30 - 4:45 PM

Students must arrive early to check in. Students who arrive late will not be admitted until the next presentation. We will not change assigned schedules if you miss your top firm's presentation.

Students will sign in at check-in. Please have your Tx State ID cards ready to scan. Sign-ins will be used to determine eligibility to attend the last showcase on February 7th.

Assigned presentations will be given at check-in. Volunteers will direct students to the appropriate rooms. If you need assistance, please look for volunteers wearing GOLD name tags.

Firm Presentations

Firms will be assigned to their own room for presentations. Presentations will be given in 15-minute rounds with 5 minutes for transition. Students will rotate rooms based on their assigned schedule. 

Students may use the registration form below to select the top three firms they want to see at each showcase. The department will make every effort to assign students one of their top choices in their rotations. Firm presentation assignments will be assigned in the order we receive registration forms. The other two firms will be assigned randomly. 

There is limited space for each firm. Students must register for this event and adhere to their given schedule. Schedules will be given upon checking in at each event. 


Networking will take place after the presentations. Door prizes will be given at the start of networking. Refreshments will be served during that time.

Student Requirements

  • Students must pre-register in order to attend any showcase
  • Students must attend 2 of the first 3 showcases to be eligible to attend the last showcase on February 7th.
  • Students must pay dues to Accounting Club, BAP, or NABA by Friday, February 1st in order to attend the last 2 showcases
  • Students must attend ALL of the first 3 showcases to be eligible for the two $500 grand door prize at the last showcase.

Sign-ins will be used to track student eligibility. It is the student's responsibility to sign in at each event. Please have your student ID ready to scan.

Although resumes will be included in the resume book, students should plan to bring additional copies of resumes to each showcase. 

Students should be prepared to answer questions about their career goals. Recruiters are interested in each student's preferred line of business and top city locations.
