BAP Induction Ceremony & Accounting Stars Recognition Program

Sponsorship recognition for BAP Ceremony Induction with special opportunity to meet with new BAP inductees. Accounting Starts will be hosted on the same evening just before the BAP induction, so this will be the opportunity to meet with business majors making an "A" in Principles of Accounting.

Meet the Firms is Texas State University's premier event that invites representatives from public, private, and government accounting organizations and departments to discuss career opportunities one-on-one with students and recent alumni of the accounting, finance, and information systems disciplines.

Minifie Academic Atrium
Students will be able to practice their interview skills with representatives from accounting firms and receive feedback. A reception will follow to network with firm representatives.
Spring Firm Showcase:
Due to space limitations, we can only accept the first 20 firms for the spring showcases. *Platinum sponsors are guaranteed a spot.
January 29-February 5th, Tuesday & Thursdays, 5pm
(one night per firm as assigned by the Department of Accounting and sent out on October 1st)
Thursday, February 7th, 6pm, Big 4 Firms
The Spring Firm Showcase is a series of four events at which CPA firms make presentations to students about their firm's history, scope, and culture. Afterwards, students will have a chance to meet with recruiters one-on-one to discuss internship and full-time job opportunities.

Our Accounting Excellence Awards Banquet will honor accounting students receiving scholarships and awards for the 2017-18 academic year. In addition to the honorees, current upper division accounting students with outstanding GPAs who are available for an internship will be our invited guests. The evening will include dinner in the 3rd floor ballroom of the LBJ Student Center on campus.

If you have giveaways leftover after an event and prefer not to haul them back to your office, please feel free to leave them with the department. Donated promotional items will be used as incentives for student participants engaging in department student development events. Just let faculty or staff working the event know, and they will be happy to see that your items are brought to the department after the event.
Intermediate Accounting T-Shirt
Students who pass Intermediate Accounting with a "B" or higher receive a t-shirt which states that they "Survived Intermediate Accounting". Platinum package sponsors will have their logo included on the t-shirts.
